Letizia’s “Other Place” is coming to Logan Square at 2456 North California. We have been looking for a location in Logan Square for seven years and we are so happy that we found the right place in this light-filled, eco-friendly building built by Studio Modernista.  Our new space features many earth friendly solutions including LED Lighting, water saving appliances, toilets, and sinks, high efficiency heating, instant water heaters etc. Most of the space was built using the wood and materials that were gutted out when remodeling began.

 

We will offer ample outdoor seating, a back garden and a sidewalk cake, a private party room and more. We serve fresh lunches, a full espresso bar and all the treats that you know from Letizia’s Natural Bakery in Wicker Park.  We will also offer many new sweets and products that we will be able to produce in our new awesome kitchen!

 

Our full dinner menu will offer the flavors of the cuisine of Rome, Italy and the Italian Countryside. Many home made pastas, salads, antipasti, fish  and grilled meats will be available for dinner, with our extensive wine lists. We plan on offering 30 or so wines by the glass, a few dozen craft beers and house cocktails (made with botanicals from our garden)

We will also have an onsite vegetable garden at this location, where we will grow veggies, greens, herbs for use in our restaurant and botanicals for use in our specialty cocktails.  We are looking for a two or three volunteers to help us tend this onsite garden. (one leader and two helpers)
