Letizia’s has partnered with Master  Roaster Emanuele Bizzarri.  We are honored to bring this independent Italian Roaster’s coffee to Chicago.

Purchasing from this small roaster is a big advantage for us because all coffee is roasted to order and shipped the same day.  Besides all or our coffee drinks, you may also purchase 12oz Bags of Caffe’ Umbria Blends to take home from our store.

The Blends of Caffé Umbria

In the tradition of his grandfather and father before him, Master Roaster Emanuele Bizzarri believes that the creation of a distinct coffee lies in the art of the blending. While many varietals, or single beans, possess great qualities, it is the skillful blending of the varietals that creates a truly unique and complex flavor profile.

Caffé Umbria is pleased to offer the following four blends to suit a variety of taste preferences and service applications.

Gusto Crema Blend - Medium Roast

A classic Italian style espresso blend. Produces a thick golden crema and a distinctly European flavor profile. Perfect straight or with a cube of sugar. Also excellent as a mild to medium bodied drip coffee.

Terra Sana Blend - Medium Roast

Our newest blend created from 100% organically certified beans This coffee has a chocolaty aroma and soft, earthy undertones. This blend is suitable for espresso and drip coffee preparation.

Bizzarri Blend - Medium Dark Roast

Our signature blend that typifies the style of coffee blended for generations by the Bizzarri family. Wonderfully rich and flavorful as an espresso and perfect for milk based drinks. Also recommended as an all-day drip coffee for its rich complexity and lingering finish.

Arco Etrusco Blend - Dark Roast

Named for the famous arched entry to the Umbrian town of Perugia, Arco Etrusco is the darkest of our blends. Roasted specifically for drip coffee drinkers, this blend is bold and rich with a smooth, non-bitter finish. Perfect for the coffee house and great in a French press.

Mezzanotte Blend - Decaffeinated

All the qualities of our signature blends without the caffeine. Roasted to a medium dark finish, this coffee is versatile as both a flavorful espresso and drip coffee.
