Sometimes people refer to real chocolate or fake chocolate.  The main difference is the core ingredients used in each.

 

“Fake” chocolate is generally made with a mixture of

cocoa powder, oils (usually hydrogenated) and vanillin

(an artificial vanilla flavor)

 

“Real” Chocolate is made with chocolate Liquor, Cocoa butter and real vanilla beans 

So you see, that real or fake chocolate is not a matter of opinion, it is something completely different.

 

 

Letizia only uses Barry Callebaut Belgian chocolate.  This chocolate is very high in cocoa butter and has a superior peformance in our baked goods.  You can plainly taste the

difference in our Killer Brownies, or in any our chocolate cakes and  cookies.

 

It may cost us a little more, but it makes a big difference!
